To design an optimal user experience, the agency Le Backyard takes a customized approach. For each UX design project, we define methodologies and an approach strategy.
UX design strategy refers to the unique way in which a project is approached. This can vary considerably depending on the project's stakes and objectives. The approach will also differ according to the maturity of the needs expressed by the customer: you may come to the agency with problems on their own, or already with avenues for optimization.
Customers come to us with a business need and a user context. Mandated to respond to these needs, we are then free to choose the way we respond, as we have been advising them from the outset. To achieve our objectives, we respond to each one with a unique methodology that constitutes our UX design strategy.
When designing or optimizing business tools, there may be a strong need for internal consensus. In this case, we can organize more co-design workshops with the teams, so that everyone is aligned on the need. The aim is to find a consensus at least on the objectives, in order to sketch out a way of achieving them with a perhaps more operational methodology.
In the case of a major conversion problem whose origin cannot be identified by the customer, the agency will first survey the customer's knowledge of its users, in order to implement the best UX strategy. Two approaches are possible:
At the agency, we have a number of methodological bricks (co-design bricks and research bricks) that we can activate or not, depending on the project and the customer and user context.
Our approach is not only specific to each customer, but also to each project: two distinct projects for the same customer will not require the same working methods, and therefore the same UX strategy.
Choosing a tailor-made UX design strategy ensures that the entire methodology is adapted to the company's culture, the pace of the project and its challenges, so as to ultimately promote the customer's success.
The choice of methodologies to be implemented as part of a UX strategy is based on an overall context that includes the issues, needs and objectives specific to each digital product design intended for internal or BtoC use. The essential tools for developing an effective methodological strategy are :
These are the points we discuss with our customers during our initial discussions.
TheUX agency, on the other hand, will provide the key expertise of a neutral, external player. It is therefore essential to give the agency the latitude it needs to build an appropriate project methodology.
